Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and "you" refers to that organization.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you may not use the Services.

2. Eligibility

To use the Services, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age;
• Be a resident of the United States (or another jurisdiction where we accept applicants);
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract;
• Not be barred from using the Services under applicable law; and
• Provide accurate, current, and complete information when applying.

We reserve the right to verify eligibility at any time and to refuse, suspend, or terminate accounts that do not meet these requirements. Acceptance into the community is not guaranteed. Approval is at our sole discretion based on factors that may include the demographic composition of our community, applicant-quality signals, and applicable research-client requirements.

3. Your account

3.1 One account per person

Each individual is permitted only one account. Creating multiple accounts, using false identities, or sharing an account with another person is grounds for immediate termination and forfeiture of any unredeemed rewards.

3.2 Account information

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to update it promptly when changes occur. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

3.3 Notification

You agree to notify us immediately at support@1000quiz.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

4. Participation in surveys

If accepted into the community, you may receive invitations to participate in market-research surveys. Participation is voluntary. We do not guarantee that any individual member will receive any particular survey, any specific number of surveys, or any minimum frequency of survey invitations.

You may qualify for some surveys and not others based on demographic, geographic, behavioral, or other criteria established by the research client. Surveys may also be closed early if response quotas are filled before you complete them.

4.1 Honest responses

You agree to provide truthful, thoughtful, and complete responses to surveys. We use automated and manual quality checks to detect inattentive, inconsistent, fraudulent, or bot-like responses. Failure to meet quality standards may result in disqualification, removal from future surveys, suspension, or termination.

4.2 No professional advice

Surveys may ask for your opinion on a wide range of topics. Nothing in the Services constitutes professional advice (medical, financial, legal, or otherwise). You should not rely on the Services for any such advice.

5. Member conduct

You agree to use the Services lawfully and respectfully. You will not:

• Provide false, misleading, or inaccurate information;
• Impersonate any person or entity;
• Submit responses on behalf of anyone else;
• Use automated tools (bots, scripts, scrapers) to interact with the Services;
• Interfere with the operation, security, or integrity of the Services;
• Attempt to access another member's account or any non-public area of the Services;
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Services;
• Reproduce, redistribute, or publish survey questions, materials, or proprietary information you encounter in surveys; or
• Use the Services for any unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or abusive purpose.

6. Rewards and incentives

From time to time, we may offer rewards, points, sweepstakes entries, or other incentives in connection with survey participation or other Member activity. Any such rewards are subject to the following:

• No purchase necessary. Rewards never require a purchase, payment, or financial obligation.
• Eligibility: rewards are available only to verified, active members who comply with these Terms.
• No guarantee of earnings. We make no representation regarding the amount any individual member may earn or receive. Rewards depend on factors including the surveys you qualify for, your response quality, and the rates set by individual research clients.
• No cash equivalence. Unless explicitly stated, points and other non-cash rewards have no monetary value, are not transferable, and may not be sold, traded, or assigned.
• Forfeiture: rewards are forfeited if your account is suspended, terminated, or closed (whether by you or by us) for any reason, including violation of these Terms or extended inactivity.
• Expiration: we may set expiration dates or inactivity limits for rewards. We will give reasonable notice before any rewards expire.
• Taxes: you are solely responsible for any taxes, fees, or charges that may arise from your receipt of rewards. We may issue applicable tax forms (e.g., IRS Form 1099) if required by law and may collect tax-identification information at that point.
• Modifications: we may modify, suspend, or discontinue any reward program at any time, with reasonable notice where practical.

7. Intellectual property

The Services and all content provided through them — including software, code, text, graphics, logos, trademarks, designs, audio, video, survey questions, and survey-related materials (collectively, the "Content") — are owned by 1000Quiz or its licensors and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Services for your personal, non-commercial use, strictly in accordance with these Terms.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, or create derivative works of any Content without our prior written consent.

8. License to your survey responses

By submitting responses, comments, suggestions, or other content ("User Submissions") through the Services, you grant 1000Quiz and our research clients a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, sublicensable, transferable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, and display the User Submissions for purposes including:

• Conducting and delivering market-research reports to clients;
• Improving the Services and developing new features;
• Compiling anonymized statistics and insights; and
• Other commercial or research purposes consistent with our Privacy Policy.

You represent that your User Submissions are your own work, do not infringe the rights of any third party, and do not include confidential information that you are obligated to keep confidential.

We will not publish your User Submissions in a way that personally identifies you unless we obtain your express consent.

9. Prohibited activities

In addition to the conduct restrictions in Section 5, you specifically agree not to:

• Sell, trade, or transfer your account or any rewards;
• Use VPNs, proxies, or other tools to misrepresent your geographic location;
• Engage in "click fraud" or any artificial inflation of engagement metrics;
• Recruit other applicants for any compensation outside of a referral program we explicitly authorize;
• Use the Services to send unsolicited commercial messages (spam);
• Upload viruses, malware, or other harmful code;
• Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Services without our prior written authorization; or
• Violate any applicable law or regulation in connection with your use of the Services.

10. Suspension and termination

10.1 Termination by you

You may close your account at any time by emailing support@1000quiz.com. Closure is effective once we confirm receipt of your request. Closing your account causes the forfeiture of any unredeemed rewards.

10.2 Termination by us

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services, in whole or in part, at any time and for any reason, with or without notice, including (without limitation) if:

• You violate these Terms;
• You provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information;
• You fail repeated quality checks;
• Your account has been inactive for an extended period (typically 12 months);
• Required by law or governmental request; or
• Continued operation of your account creates risk for us, our research clients, or other members.

10.3 Effect of termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 7–9 and 12–16) will survive.

11. Third-party services and trademarks

The Services may integrate with, link to, or reference third-party websites, services, or platforms (such as email providers, payment processors, or analytics platforms). We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third party.

1000Quiz is an independent service. The Services are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or administered by Meta Platforms, Inc., Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Google, Apple, or any other company referenced on the Services. All trademarks are the property of their respective owners.

12. Disclaimers

We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant that any defects will be corrected or that the results obtained from using the Services will be accurate or reliable.

You acknowledge that participation in surveys may not result in any rewards and that any reward amounts depend entirely on the surveys for which you qualify and complete.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services will not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount of rewards you have actually received from us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars (US $100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless 1000Quiz, our affiliates, and our officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with:

• Your access to or use of the Services;
• Your violation of these Terms;
• Your User Submissions;
• Your violation of any third-party right, including intellectual-property, privacy, or publicity rights; or
• Your violation of any applicable law.

15. Dispute resolution and arbitration

15.1 Informal resolution

Before filing a claim, you agree to try to resolve the dispute informally by emailing legal@1000quiz.com with a written description of the dispute and your contact information. We will attempt to resolve the dispute in good faith within 60 days.

15.2 Binding arbitration

If informal resolution fails, any claim or dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association ("AAA") under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. The arbitration will be conducted in the English language and seated in [Insert U.S. state/county of your principal place of business], unless you and we agree otherwise. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.

15.3 Class action waiver

You and 1000Quiz agree that each may bring claims against the other only in your or its individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class or representative proceeding. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims and may not preside over any form of representative or class proceeding.

15.4 Exceptions

Notwithstanding the above, either party may bring an individual action in small-claims court or seek injunctive or equitable relief in court to protect its intellectual-property rights.

15.5 30-day opt-out

You may opt out of the arbitration agreement in this Section 15 by sending written notice to legal@1000quiz.com within 30 days of first accepting these Terms. Your notice must include your name, mailing address, and a clear statement that you wish to opt out of arbitration.

16. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [Insert U.S. state, e.g., Delaware], without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Subject to Section 15, any litigation not subject to arbitration will be filed exclusively in the state or federal courts located in [Insert venue], and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

17. Electronic communications and signatures

By using the Services, you consent to receive communications from us electronically, including by email and through the Services. You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures, and other communications we provide electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing. You agree that your electronic acceptance (e.g., by clicking "Submit Application," "I agree," or a similar button) constitutes a legally binding signature under the U.S. Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (E-SIGN) and similar state laws.

18. Changes to these Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will post the revised Terms on the Services and update the "Last updated" date. Where required by law, we will notify you by email or by prominent notice on the Services prior to the changes taking effect.

Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must stop using the Services and close your account.

19. Miscellaneous

19.1 Entire agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any other notices or supplemental terms we provide, constitute the entire agreement between you and 1000Quiz regarding the Services and supersede any prior agreements.

19.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect, and the unenforceable provision will be replaced with one that most closely matches the original intent.

19.3 No waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of that right or provision.

19.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms freely, including to a successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

19.5 No agency

Nothing in these Terms creates any agency, partnership, joint venture, employment, or franchise relationship between you and 1000Quiz.

19.6 Force majeure

We will not be liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, war, terrorism, riots, fires, floods, pandemics, governmental action, labor conditions, power failures, or internet disruptions.

Section headings are provided for convenience only and do not affect the interpretation of these Terms.
